This work usually depicts a lively and energetic festival scene, but the atmosphere changes completely and becomes silent. The colors are bright with deep darkness, and the shadows are emphasized, giving the viewer a sense of unease.

The work depicts humans in the form of monsters, each symbolizing a different desire or emotion. These monsters represent humans who have lost sight of themselves as a result of their desires running wild. Their expressions and movements exude a sense of loneliness and despair, in stark contrast to the joy of the festival.

“Silent Festival” depicts the inner conflicts and desires of humans that lie behind the superficial enjoyment, and conveys a strong message to the viewer. Through this work, we can think about the silence behind the gaiety of a festival and the true nature of humanity that lies there.

This work was created by using a special printing method called giclee printing, which uses pigment ink instead of dye ink, to create a digital drawing. The support is paper.

Since pigment is used, the work can be preserved for a long time.

The number of copies is limited to 5, and the current product is edition number 1/5. We will print one more copy each time we sell one.

The size of the work is A4 (297mm x 210mm).

A certificate is included that proves that it is a giclee print. The certificate will be shipped in a frame.
Since it is pigment ink, the color of the work will be preserved for a long time, but if it is exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, it will deteriorate.
