“The Octopus’s Demonic Obedience” is a work that depicts a boss octopus and his obedient minions. Octopuses are a sea creature that is generally considered a symbol of the devil, but in this work, the demonic side of the octopus is emphasized, while the minions’ obedience to their boss is also highlighted. This work explores the philosophical theme that goodness stands out because evil exists.

The background to this work is historical observation of the two sides of life, suggesting that the devil does not necessarily symbolize all evil. In addition to octopuses, other animals such as elephants are depicted on the screen, expressing the infinity of the universe.
